*NOTE 1: On 1. February 2009 the PNOZclassic-range was discontinued for reasons of availability of spare parts and the technical progress. PNOZclassic devices may be replaced by the latest generation of PNOZsigma safety relays. PNOZsigma provides maximum functionality in minimum width.
The following list is a recommendation of replacement types from the PNOZsigma- range for discontinued types from the PNOZclassic-range. It is necessary to check and ensure that the listed replacement types suit the application, and that they can be used.
*Note 2: The following comparison chart makes the transfer from PNOZ X to PNOZsigma easier for the user. Safety relays from the PNOZ X product range are proven through their reliability and robustness and have developed a wide application range in the most varied of safety applications. One PNOZ is used per safety function. Sizes vary from 22.5 to 90 mm, the number of contacts from two to eight.
The new compact safety relays PNOZsigma combine Pilz’s many years of experience with the very latest safety technology: With particularly narrow housing widths from 12.5 mm and multifunctionalitycompressed into each unit, PNOZsigma provides maximum functionality in minimum width. The PNOZsigma devices can be connected via contact expander modules.
